CREDENTIALING LEVELS
IAPCCT Credentials are awarded to those individuals who are committed to engaging in ethical, congruent, and professional partnership with clients. The rigorous training and extensive experience of the IAPCCT Credentialed Professionals reflect thorough understanding of the Professional Ethos and International Standards.
Only those individuals who have registered for ‘professional membership’ can apply for IAPCCT credentialing at Competent, Accomplished or Expert Professional Levels.
Eligibility:
- Completion of 75 hours of IAPCCT Accredited Training.
- A minimum of 20 hours of practise experience
- Completion of free course on professionalism, ethics & integrity
Pre-requisites:
- At least 10 of the 20 practise hours must occur within the 15 months prior to applying for the credential.

Estimated Timeline for Review: 2 weeks
- Completion of 120 hours of IAPCCT Accredited Training.
- A minimum of 100 hours of practise experience
- Completion of free course on professionalism, ethics & integrity
- At least 48 hours of the IAPCCT Accredited Training must occur in a classroom program.
- A minimum of 75 hours of the practise experience must be paid assignment.
- Total practise experience must involve a minimum of 10 different clients.
- At least 20 of the 100 practise hours must occur within the 15 months prior to applying for the credential.
Estimated Timeline for Review: 4 weeks
Eligibility:
- Completion of 240 hours of IAPCCT Accredited Training.
- A minimum of 600 hours of practise experience
- 10 hours of mentoring sessions under an IAPCCT EPL member who has completed at least 3 full cycles of the credential
through renewal. - Completion of free course on professionalism, ethics & integrity
- Currently holds (or previously held) a Competent Professional Level Certificate (CPL).
Pre-requisites:
- At least 80 hours of the IAPCCT Accredited Training must occur in a classroom program.
- A minimum of 450 hours of the practise experience must be paid assignment.
- Total practise experience must involve a minimum of 25 different clients.
- At least 50 of the 600 practise hours must occur within the 15 months prior to applying for the credential.
- One mp3 recordings along with written content of sessions to be submitted with application

- Completion of 300 hours of IAPCCT Accredited Training
- A minimum of 2500 hours of practise experience
- 10 hours of mentoring sessions under an IAPCCT EPL member who has completed at least 3 full cycles of the credential
through renewal. - Completion of free course on professionalism, ethics & integrity
- Currently holds (or previously held) an Accomplished Professional Level Certificate (APL).
Recommendation from 2 existing EPLs and a minimum score of 85% in the Board Interview
Pre-requisites:
- At least 88 hours of the IAPCCT Accredited Training must occur in a classroom program.
- A minimum of 2250 hours of the practise experience must be paid assignment.
- Total practise experience must involve a minimum of 35 different clients.
- At least 100 of the 2500 practise hours must occur within the 18 months prior to applying for the credential.
