PRINCIPLES


 

All members of IAPCCT shall:

Respect the dignity of each and every person, their worth and their right to self-determination.

Strive to act with absolute integrity, independence and impartiality.

Avoid conflict of interests and act in accordance with the presuppositions of NLP and Coaching.

Represent themselves, their qualifications, and their experience honestly. Also, they must ensure (to the best of their knowledge), the experience and competence of the third party to whom they in case refer their customers/clients.

Practice NLP only within the limits of their competency and to their highest possible standards

Update their skills and knowledge on a continuous basis.

Suggest NLP interventions only as an option or a choice and at no time as a certain solution for any given problem.

Act as NLP ambassadors to present NLP as an effective and approach capable of helping people as well as organizations.

Avoid bringing disregard and disrespect to NLP and Coaching

Strive to act with ecology framework, and ensure the client’s safety at all times.

Act as ambassadors for IAPCCT, to support its mission and promote its activities to a wider audience.

Avoid bringing IAPCCT into disrepute.

Consistently respect the legitimate needs and requirements for confidentiality.

Recognise their scope of practice and only practise NLP within the limits of their competency and to their highest possible standards.

Respect the various styles of NLP, Counselling, Coaching, Therapy and other complementary professions.

Support the interests of fellow members and avoid soliciting the customers/ clients away from other members.

Ensure that clients/customers expectations, and the basis on which they will be met, are understood by both parties and that contractual arrange-menu are not changed without appropriate discussion.

Act within the law and not encourage, assist, or collude with others engaged in unlawful conduct.
