Complaints & transparency

A standard is only as strong as its enforcement.

Anyone can raise a concern about an IAPCCT member or accredited program. This page explains how concerns are handled and what we publish about the outcomes.
The process

How a concern is handled.

1

Raise it

Submit your concern with the member or program name and any supporting information, by email or the form below.

2

Acknowledge & assess

We acknowledge receipt, check the concern falls within our remit, and decide whether to investigate.

3

Investigate

We gather information from both sides fairly and confidentially, and may seek independent input from the board.

4

Decide

Outcomes range from no action, to guidance, to conditions, to suspension or removal of membership or accreditation.

5

Review

Either party may request a review of the decision on procedural grounds.

Transparency reporting

What we publish each year.

To keep the standard credible, IAPCCT publishes an annual summary of concerns handled. Individual cases remain confidential. The first report will follow the current reporting year.
