Purpose

This standard defines the competencies of an ethical, effective coach at each stage of professional development. It is the reference against which IAPCCT accredits coach-training programs and credentials coaches.

Scope

It applies to members practising coaching, to accredited coach-training programs, and to certifying institutes. It is aligned in structure with widely accepted core-competency frameworks while remaining IAPCCT’s own standard.
