The IAPCCT EI standard covers the assessment and development of emotional intelligence in individuals and groups, drawing on established models (for example Mayer-Salovey, Goleman and Bar-On).
This standard defines the competencies required to assess and develop emotional intelligence in individuals and groups, at each stage of professional development.
It applies to members practising in EI, to accredited EI programs, and to certifying institutes. It draws on established models of emotional intelligence while remaining IAPCCT’s own standard.
